Florida’s semi-tropical climate allows us to enjoy spending time outdoors year-round. But Florida is not only a great place for a race. This year’s race will be held in Coral Springs, just out side of Fort Lauderdale/ Miami. South Florida is about history, shopping, entertainment, professional sports teams and great weather.

Miami is home to host of major league teams, Fort Lauderdale is home to the Panther hockey team, and with multiple malls, nightclubs and bars, there is plenty to do!

The area is also home to major universities, Nova Southeastern, Barry University, Johnson and Wales and University of Miami, , but this is not your average college town. South Florida’s multitude of entertaining options makes your trip a memorable experience. Just outside Coral Springs The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood offers dining and an exciting casino gaming environment (note – not all casino games are offered at this location), or head over to the beach and watch the waves roll in as you sip your mojito.

For beaches, fishing, jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling or diving- whatever your pleasure, you will find it here in South Florida.
