While Tampa’s semi-tropical climate allows us to enjoy spending time outdoors year-round, Tampa and the Bay area is more than just anther R/C race. Tampa is about history, shopping, entertainment, professional sports teams and great weather.

Tampa Bay is a great example of all of these activities, from Busch Gardens, The Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, a streetcar ride to Channelside for shopping, and a Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Devil Rays, or Lightning game.

Tampa is also home to two major universities, University of Tampa and University of South Florida, but this is not your average college town. Tampa Bay’s multitude of entertaining options makes your trip a memorable experience. Just outside of town The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino offers dining and an exciting casino gaming environment (note – not all casino games are offered at this location), or head over to Centro Ybor, nestled among the bars and nightclubs, Centro Ybor features shopping and dining options, including Tampa Improv Comedy Theater & Restaurant, or Gameworks activity center, or visit Splitsville located in the Channelside Entertainment Complex for billiards and bowling. Channelside’s open-air facility, while similar to Centro Ybor, offers an additional variety of dining, nightclubs and shopping.
